Mark Wins Award For Digital Painting Excellence

Mark Bannerman is delighted to have won an award for excellence (go Markee, go Markee) within the Editorial Illustration category of the book PAINTER - The World's Finest Painter Art. The award was for artistic interpretation for a style that was sympathetic to the medium. This included technical skills, and also the skill of telling a story.

The image blends digital painting and texture work with 3D elements.

The book showcases and celebrates the world's finest digital artwork using Corel's® natural media painting program, Painter. In total three full page examples of Mark Bannerman's digital artwork using Painter was chosen for the publication

A panel of leading digital artists from the Painter community was responsible for judging the high quality artwork submitted for PAINTER.".
